hi guys, new to this so please forgive any errors. i have a 68-plate Octavia and as far as i know, the infotainment system has never been updated so my question, does it do it automatically when I have my phone connected if not how do i do it? does it need it? where do i get the updates how can tell if i am an old version thansk in advance guys

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I a newbie I have just bought an Octavia 2018 estate. I have an android phone so I believe I have to have the phone cabled in to use the smart links satnav via android auto Then I have tried to connect my ipod via Bluetooth and it kicks me out . am I doing something wrong?
