This is exactlly the same problem. Just in my case car shuts down 2 3 times. Authorized Skoda service changed the battery. They probably did it. I really dont know.

I have complete history of the car. Car left varranty in august od 2020 becouse of the mileage. I will check the belt. Thank you

Isnt it supposed to change on 210 000km?

Only problem is when car is hot. On cold start it starts almost immediatelly. I think timing belt is original (from factory) i didnt change it.

If fuel pump or non-return valve is failing will it show on diagnostics? Skodas official dealership and service did diagnostics 3 times already and not a single one error showed.

sorry i forgot to mention It starts first try in the morning when its cold , and sometimes takes two , three times to start when its hot . Car has 148 000km . last service was done on 143 000km . Fuel filter, oil filer and oil was changed. i dont have any electrical devices pluged in . The car is running great its not sluggish or anything like that . new battery was installed one month ago and starter motor was refurbished. the car has full service history.

Hey guys, i have a starting problem with my octavia 2.0tdi 2017 DSG6. Somethimes starts after 2 or 3 tries (first try rpms just go to 800 and immediatelly drop). I went to the official dealer and they didnt find any errors on diagnostics. They fixed starter motor and installed new battery and all was good for a month. Again occasionally i started to notice same problem. Yesterday i went again to official dealer and they said everything is fine and no errors showed up in diagnostics. They said they checked electronics, engine, dsg, alternator and again starter motor and battery and everything is normal. The car runs great. I bought it 3 months ago and it was fully serviced by offical dealers. Did anyone else had same issue?
