  1. I’ve started to notice this behaviour within the last two weeks and been from cold start but not in the mornings strangely only has happened in the afternoons after work etc. only noticed it a few times now, 4 times max I would say. The rest of the time when it’s behaving itself it will go to around 1100 rpm and after a few seconds go down to 800 ish mark. I didn’t change the air filter or spark plugs used a reliable authorised Skoda garage, Quattro tech if you’ve heard of them.
  2. Hiya, I’ve got a 63 plate 1.2 tsi fabia and at the moment I’ve got a intermittent fault at startup which when I turn the key the cad will go to about 2000 rpm for a few seconds then settle back down to 1000 rpm. From what I’ve found it could be a number of things and the first I want to check is the throttle body, without being naive can anyone tell me where my throttle body is on my engine, I’ve only been able to find mk1s on YouTube etc. I appreciate any help and if anyone has any other ideas to what could be causing this fault. I don’t have any engine faults and my air filter and spark plugs were replaced in my last service which was about 5000 miles ago. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b2w3YCeZa4i3GedgRnwi2aJQ
  3. IMG_6554.MOV Hi, thanks for the reply in the service the air and fuel filter was changed so was the spark plugs and oil service as well. Since the service just over 1k miles has been done. when I start it the rpm goes to 1k then falls to 600 rpm if that helps as well. this is what my engine is sounding like at the moment. Still a fairly new driver so don’t know if it’s healthy or not IMG_6554.MOV
  4. Hi, I've just noticed something with my engine, it has now started to sound differently to how it normally does, best way to describe it would be a slight ticking/ knocking noise. Also just this morning I have noticed that my idle rpm has dropped to around 600 rpm whereas it would normally sit at 1000 rpm . The Car itself is healthy, Full service done in July, done about 77k Miles and still seems to be driving perfectly fine. Am I looking at a big fix as I have only had this car for just over a year?
