Cheers for that Chubbs, what's the durability like? I've always used C4 but would be tempted to go for something new if the durability was ok.

I'd be interested if you could post up a little review of the Solution Finish when you get chance, hearing very good reports.

I believe that's because they only sell the ARB's as a pair now. Previously you used to be able to buy the front or rear separately or buy the pair.

Some lovely pics, would be nice if people could state what wax/sealant was on the car.

Never got round to fitting these to my facelift Octy VRS, bought them from the forum and they've sat in my garage for ages. The Octy has gone so these are no longer needed. They are in VGC, the kit retails for £350 - £400. Asking £200 collected from the Hull area. Pics below. PM me please if you're interested.

Only took them for a quick blast, probably 5 miles or so, just to check they were ok and didn't notice any difference to be honest.

They are still available, I believe the offset on 18" Neptunes is 51 these are 43. They were ok when I trial fitted them but you may want you use one of the online offset calculators if your not sure.

You can't go wrong with CG products, some of the best value for money stuff on the market. I used Wash 'n' Gloss for years, have experimented with a variety of other shampoo's but will go back to CG when I need to re stock.

Price drop to £250 as I could really use the space in the garage.

Audi A4 5 spoke Ronal alloys, 8 x 18, 5 x 112, ET 43. They're all straight with no buckles or cracks but have a fair bit of kerb rash and would need a refurb if you wanter them perfetct. They are shod with virtually zero mileage Nankang Snow SV2s in 235/40/18 tyres. I'm selling as I haven't used them apart from a trial fit onto my mk2 FL Octavia VRS, they are just taking up space in the garage. Asking £300, which just about covers the cost of the tyres, collected from the Hull area. Pleas PM me if you're interested, but bare in mind it might take a day or 2 to get back to you as I work shifts. Pictures attached below.

I'm not too worried about the potential for grit, I like to think that I have a reasonable wash routine; TFR, snow foam, 2BM wash with plenty of rinsing from the Nilfisk. Here's CYC's video of the towel in action;

Well the Gyeon Silk Dryer is still performing brilliantly, it's been used pretty much twice a week (my Octy and the wifes Ibiza) since I first posted and it's still exactly the same. I just spread it out on the rear screen, slowly drag it forward across the roof, down the screen and across the bonnet and there's nothing left behind, its speeded up drying the car a fair bit. I'd highly recommend it, I've used a few different towels over the years but this is the best I've had.

I've got one of the foam lances, same quality as more expensive ones I've bought previously. No problems with it at all, like all lances you just have to remember to rinse though with clean water when you've finished to prevent them clogging up.

I've had experience of; Eibach, H&R monotube, and KW V1 coilovers and all give near standard levels of ride comfort even with a decent drop (the 40mm) you're looking at. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. People seem to think that coilovers automatically mean a rock hard ride, but if you do a bit of research and are prepared to pay for a quality manufacturer you'll get a good quality comfortable ride.

Chemical Guys is probably the best value for money all round brand for me.

There are plenty of threads on detailingworld regarding replacing Nilfisk hoses, the usual companies people use are either direct hoses or Q-washers. The hose reel on my Nilfisk drives me mad with kinking, I'll get round to ordering a rubber one before long.

I received a Gyeon Silk Dryer the other day (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/drying-towels/gyeon-q2m-silk-dryer/prod_1630.html) and gave it a try today, I was very impressed. Just dragged it over the car and it absolutely drank the water, knocked a few minutes off the normal drying time. I also gave the Angelwax Fastfoam a second go to see if I could get any better results than the first time I used it, disappointingly I didn't and it didn't shift anything like the amount of dirt that the Obsession Wax Blizzard snow foam did. On a better note I also had a first try with the Wolfs Chemicals shampoo and that was very good, plenty of suds, nice and slick and cleaned well. Only downside was there was no particular scent with it....though I do have a cold so it could have been me.

Managed to give another 2 of my new products a run out today; The car hasn't had a wash for about 10 days. Protection on it is 3 month old Jetseal and it gets a weekly shot of Sonax BSD. Impressed with how thick the foam was, I'll try diluting it further next time. This was after about 10-15 minutes after I'd washed the wheels. Looked to be shifting some dirt.... This was the result after I'd washed it off with the Nilfisk......I was very impressed. It really didn't leave an awful lot for the Carchem 1900 to deal with. Having said that I was also impressed with that as a shampoo. It only needed a small amount in the bucket but still produced plenty of suds, felt very slick and cleaned off the remaining dirt (which wasn't much) with ease. Definite thumbs up for both products. The wheels incidentally had the foam applied and were agitated with a Wheel Woolies brush from my wheels bucket that had CG Wash n Gloss shampoo in it. I didn't use any specific wheel cleaner, and they have no protection on them at present as I keep promising myself I'm going to get them refurbished.

Gave some of the new products their first run out yesterday cleaning the wifes Ibiza which was really dirty. I'll start with snowfoam, used the Angelwax Fastfoam through a foam lance. It produced a decent amount of foam that clung on very well but I wasn't overly impressed with its cleaning ability and it certainly didn't remove any more dirt than the Powermaxed TFR through a Mesto foamer that I normally use. I'll continue with it in a few more dilution ratios to see if it gets any better. Shampoo wise I chose KKD Choccy Woccy in place of my normal shampoo which is Chemical Guys Citrus Wash 'n' Gloss (which I've run out of, hence trying some new ones). Well it certainly produced far less suds than the Wash 'n' Gloss which I was surprised at as it says its high foaming. It felt slick enough and cleaned well but I wouldn't describe it as being any better than the Wash 'n' Gloss, which like many Chemical Guys products is great value for money. Again I'll continue with it with some different dilution ratios to see if its me that was the problem. The Wheel Woolies small brush was excellent, just the right size and compliments the normal Wheel Woolies perfectly. I used the Vikan long handled brush on the tyres, wheel arches and also the sills and again I was really impressed. If your running your car low, with little gap between the arch and top of the tyre then this brush won't fit in to do your arches. I'll add some reviews of the other products as and when I use them. The Gtechniq mitt I was a little sceptical about when I took it out of the packaging, but it performed really well. Held a lot of water/shampoo and cleaned effortlessly.
