Hello, I wanted to report my issues… I just wrote to the service today and will inform you how they will resolve them. When I listen to the radio or have CarPlay on, I hear clicking sounds (like I’m pressing buttons on the multimedia system, it goes click click), the multimedia system resets 100 times during the drive (black screen + Škoda logo). At the same time, front assist, cruise control, etc., stop working for a second or two… Sometimes, these problems don't occur at all. It's hard to go on a longer drive with such issues. Additionally, sometimes the multimedia system doesn’t want to turn off after I leave and lock the car…

I’m getting my car next week guys. So my journey was like this: - ordered on 6. August 2021 in Slovenia - no info till 25 April 2022 when told car has VIN and is waiting parts - 31 Maj 2022 told car is finished and awaiting transport hope you all get your cars as soon as possible. It can go from 0 information to a quickly finished car.

I think that in this “2-3 weeks” is transport+deconservation (i think that is in Logatec+cleaning+final transport to dealer. if i waited 10 months, i can another 3 weeks 😂

Just got a confirmation. My car is finished, and will be at the dealers in 2-3 weeks. Hope it doesn’t fall out of the truck 😂

Just tried adding my VIN (that i got cca 2 months ago) to Škoda connect app and it found my car. The last time i tried it was yesterday, but it didn't let me in... Hope that means i will get my car soon. The dealer thinks the same, that the car is finished and waiting transport

Your car is already built and awaiting parts or is going into production? My car was built about a month ago (and now is parked and awaiting parts) and i didn’t get any info, that i would be getting any free extras… skoda octavia caravan 1.5 etsi dsg ambition with some extras.

What do you mean is with out error?

I only got the info that it was build and awaiting parts about 10 days ago (after i contacted my dealer). When was it build, i have no idea, i didn’t ask. i got the VIN though… 😂 but can’t see the car in Skoda app.

Mine is also build and awaiting parts. 9 months and counting.

Just heard from my dealer. My car has a VIN number, is in production and also waiting for missing parts (whatever those could be...). Ordered in August 21. My first info sicne almost 9 months of waiting.

Man… this forum has almost 100 pages. Skoda doesn’t need to read this forum. Just has to see the number of pages to know how ****ty they are. 😂

Same, same... Also ordere in August like we talked about. Because of the fire i know there will be huge delays. Probably the ''military operation'' in Ukrain also has an impact on delays. I was looking into a used Seat Leon, 2021 May, with similar spects to my Škoda (dsg, 1.5 etsi, aac,...), and it was 2000€ more expensive than the offer for my NEW Škoda Octavia... It's not worth paying 2k€ more for a used car....

Where did you order your Octavia? Which dealer?:)

No park camera. Octavia Ambition, with traveller pack (adaptive cruise control, digital cockpit, sign recognition), rear mirror autodim, Columbus radio, heated steering wheel. I just hope i get it till July. 😄

I also ordered in August (Slovenia). Octavia 1.5 etsi dsg (estate/caravan). No info at all. i asked my seller if he has any information about the fire. He responded that they were informed from the importer about the fire, but Skoda still didn’t say anything about delays. He also said that the cars will keep on being build to a certain stage and later (when the fabric parts arrive that were destroyed in a fire) be finished. We’ll see.

I just read this... The bad news are always about Skoda, nothing else, haha... I am waiting for 6 months and have zero information, I am really sick and tired of waiting. Looks like it's gonna be another 4 months (fingers crossed)...

Before you broker called thst the car is finished, have you had any other information? Or did this information come out of the blue?

Those who have an Octavia 1.5 mphev dsg... If u drive around 40-50 kmph, does the engine go in cruise mode? Aka you drive on electricity? For how long?

Hy, i ordered in the first week of August (Slovenia) and still have zero information. Nothing! I just hope that the dealer calls me one day and says that the car is being delivered.

Did you have any other info before the news, that your car is arriving? Or did it go from zero info, to this?
