Dear Ajdolin, I had frequent communication with me dealer. 1) At first the car was supposed to go for production on week 40, but the dealer informed me from the beginning that this has lot of chances not to happen. 2) Then i have been informed that the car was going to production on week 49, but again my dealer he was sceptic. (that didnt happen) 3) Then for some time there was no production date at all 4) Finally just before Christmas he informed me that the car has been programmed for production for week 4 - 2022 (if i remember correctly) BUT this time he was absolutely sure that this is not going to change. He explained to me that now the order was marked as "freezed" which means you cannot do changes any more to your order (add/remove options, change color, etc) and this indication most of the times does not change. So apparently dealers have some clues as to if a production date will be final or have chances to change. Hope i have helped,

Dear All, Since i got some comfort through this thread during waiting time i would like to inform you that i have finally received my new car. So the car specs are - Octavia 1.5mhev, DSG, Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, rough road package. (Location Athens Greece) Car Ordered 31/7/21 and received 3/3/22 so overall 7 Months from order to delivery. The car price picked up from oder to delivery almost 1900 euros but after negotiations i paid almost 1000 euros more. (Not happy with that) Now about the car. Although my experience with the car is only 750km i can share some first impressions to make you feel better during your wait period. - Smells fantastic - I love the smell of a new car and i hope to last a little longer. - Drives super smooth - Very low road noise in the interior (at least to my standards) - You dont feel the start stop of the engine - It happens instantly. - No weird noises and robust construction feeling. - No Cangaroo effect at low temperatures or when car is cold (i am mentioning that because of several threads that i have read about the 1.5 tsi) - DSG work fantastic. I will never go back to manual gearbox after knowing the feeling i am enjoying now. - The infotainement system works extremely well, very responsive, wireless CarPlay works fantastic, no freezes or any other glitches up to now. - The side assist work very well for me. Its not interfering where it shouldnt, ang gives me a feel of extra safety. I have never swithed it off and in Greece we are not famous for our road quality. (i am mentioning that because of several trhreads for not working properly that i have read) - Although the car is just out of the box consumption is lower than i have expected. Average consumption for all its life is 6.2lt/100 km (including heavy traffic situations). In open road consumption varies from 4.2lt to 5.2lt. I managed to achieve 680km before refueling and during refueling the reservoir was not yet empty. Fow sure i could make 100km more. Overall i am super happy with my choice up to now, but of course now its too soon for objectivity and only time will tell if everything will be OK. Hello Ralliskara, Your theory may be true. However according to the info I have my car is not yet built and thus waiting in a parking lot. So the fact is that I have ordered 1.5 months earlier than you and still no production date while at the same time your car is already produced and in its way for delivery. Please don't misunderstand me. I feel happy that you will get your car soon, as you supposed to. I am just curious to understand the mechanics behind the whole situation. "Not that it matters but I have to be occupied with something until I get my car as well" Ordered from Koilakos !

Hello Ralliskara, This is Great news !!! However I cannot understand how each order is processed. I am also from Athens ordered 31 July an Octavia 1.5 Combi style DSG and after 2 build dates now no build date. So even if our orders are somehow similar and my order is before yours there is a whole different situation. What can I say...

Great News !!! You are a very lucky guy... Can I ask if you car have a reverse camera in its specifications?

Just had an update from my dealer. He told me that if i agree to dismiss the rear view camera then the car will soon take a build date. (said he received an email yesterday) Ordered 31/7/2021 (Athens Greece) Octavia Combi e-tec 1,5DSG + sunroof + interior lighting Had a 1st build date week 40, then week 48, now no build date I really don't know what to do as the offered option is not clear. I don't know when my car will be delivered if I choose to dismiss the camera, but I also don't know when it will be delivered if I leave it as is. Any suggestions?

Hi all, Just an update, Ordered Octavia 1,5 Mhev, DSG, Sunroof on 31 of July. 1st production date was for week 40 Then moved for Week 48 Yesterday had a talk with my salesperson and informed me that now he can only see that the order is accepted but with no production week anymore. In general he told me that they have been informed by Skoda that the max delivery date is up to 8 months, but judging from this thread this is not true. Now I have put my self into a mood that there is going to be a very increased delay and I am trying not to think about it...🙂

Hi all, Just to add some info to the topic... I live in Greece and I have placed and order on 31st of July for an Octavia Combi 1.5 Mhev Style with Sunroof. The initial info from the salesperson was that I will wait for approx 4 Months until delivered. I also got build week for week 40. After a new communication a few days ago, I have been informed that the build week now has moved for week 48. In addition they have told me that the minimum waiting time will be around 6 Months. Lets see what will happen,
