  5. Thanks for a quick reply. Why would I need VW codes decoder? I am going to get alerts on my dashboard after changing shocks? Do I need to buy a computer to switch them off or what? I am still a noob in all this but I have a will to learn.
  6. Hi all. Wannabe mechanics here. I started being interested in fixing my own car recently. I successfully did oil filter service, air filter and cabin as well only by watching youtube videos. Now I want to try myself in changing rear shock absorbers, but I am having issues of finding video tutorials on yt. Only found for octavia mk2 and mk1. So if anyone could tell which car has a same procedure so I can look for tutorial, or someone can send me a link i would appreciate it. Also, i need a recommendation for shock absorbers brand for which I should go. Car info: SKODA OCTAVIA ELEGANCE 1.6TDI 90HP 4DR GREY, 2015 Many thanks!!
