Hello,
I hae a problem with my Skoda Superb 2012 and by having a problem I mean there is a huge metalic grinding sound coming from engine/differential. It is so loud I fearof differential locking up entirely during my long trips. The sound comes at random, there is no specific action done with the car. No matter the speed 50 or 140 km/h it may come on for about 2-6 seconds (some times up to 15-20 seconds) and go away. I tried putting the DSG gearbox into neutral immediatelly after hearing the sound but had no difference in the speed of the sound even thoug acceleration of the car is non existing (causu of neutral position), I tried breaking emedialely allmost to a stop and that too does not make a differance. All i can feel is some vibration on my pedals and that horrible sound. The car has driven 300k km and even after the needed flywheel replacement the sound is still there. I have researched this topoc of grinding sounds and no there is no stone in my brakes or something simple as that. Would help a lot if there is someone with any clue what is happening. Thanks
