Superb 4x4 - hot or not?
Hi HoistToCrew, That's my car that's been kindly shared by Gaz above and I can confirm that the 4x4 is worth it imo - we've done longer drives (2 hours) whilst towing a small trailer with absolutely no concerns with traction or loss of power, then we've done the drive from the south coast to Edinburgh and back and it handled like a dream both on the long motorway drive and on the smaller, more local roads like the A7 (or any B road along the south coast)! We've looked after this and recently had the DSG oil changed and the 4x4/Haldex oils changed by Skoda, plus a new timing belt etc and the guy that bought this as an ex-demonstrator was also very good at getting Skoda servicing and oils changed on time. We also have had 2 boys in the back of this for the last 3 years and it's been very comfortable for them with great visibility out the side windows and the L&K pack giving them rear blowers and time/temp is a novelty that they've never grown bored of! They also ride in the back of my father's Mk3 Superb Estate and say both are "pretty cool" so I take that as a win for us both. I hope this helps with the one you're looking at but always welcome to view ours if it isn't quite what you're after......yes, I know, shameless plug.....either way, good luck with your search

**SOLD** Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI Elegance Hatchback 5dr Diesel DSG 4WD Euro 5
Had a few questions about the car so thought I'd add my response here so that it may help others - please do message if you have any questions 😊 Never smoked in. Our cat infrequently came in the car in a carrier. Also had two boys who have tagged along with us for several years now in the back of our cars but the all leather seats have been covered in a full protection pet cover and we never allow any eating or drinking of anything but water in the car (I know, 'mean parents' or what? But 'mean parents' with an unstained, clean car 😉). Front heated seats both work very well. No heated front windscreen but has the standard but very effective heated windscreen max blower - really doesn't take long to heat up. 2 original keys with electric seat and mirror memory stored to each key. Stereo has Bluetooth call connection and has voice control also. Electric memory front seats for up to 3 people and as said above, link to the keys so seats auto adjust on unlocking and opening driver's door. No Pano roof - would mean less of the gorgeous purple/champagne paint! Air-con fully functional (much to my husband's annoyance/much to my peri-menopausal approval). Yes, car has parallel park assist which I have used a few times on either side with great success. All lights were upgraded to LED bulbs excluding the Xenon directional headlights (that have a travel option via the MFD so no need for stickers/reflectors when driving in Europe).

**SOLD** Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI Elegance Hatchback 5dr Diesel DSG 4WD Euro 5
Make & Model: Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI Elegance Hatchback 5dr Diesel DSG 4WD Euro 5 Colour: Purple Mileage: 90,000 Price: £4,500 (reduced from £4,999) Description: We are very sadly selling our family Skoda as, due to health reasons, it is no longer suitable for our family's needs. This car draws many compliments and turns heads with its subtle, purple-champagne colour and the Laurin and Klement (L&K) Pack which give it a few extras that other similar models lack such as TPMS, chrome door plates, Columbus Stereo with SD-card and Euro Navigation. It drives beautifully on both long journeys on the motorway and on shorter journeys too. Comes with the factory-fit Westfalia Towbar and electrics (meaning if a trailer is connected and the car locked the alarm will sound if the trailer's electrics are disconnected) plus the factory fit upgraded alternator for towing. This model sports the split tailgate lift meaning you can access the boot space as you would a normal saloon or press a button and open the tailgate as a hatchback for full and easy access to the vast boot space. 4 New BridgestoneTyres Aug 23, spare tyre in good condition as shown in images. Skoda Service Aug 24. DSG & Haldex/4x4 Oil, Brake Pads and Discs 23, Brake Fluid 23, New Battery Jan 23. Rear Coil Springs and Offside Rear Arm advisories on MOT Aug 24 but Skoda dealership advised no rush. Timing belt, Water-pump Aug 22. This is a much loved car that we are desperately sad to have to sell, we hope that the car brings it's next owners just as much joy as it has us. The V5 states 3 owners but we were made aware that it was pre-registered and used as a Demonstrator (hence the SKO registration!) therefore only really had 2 owners. Both the first owner and ourselves have kept meticulous records of any work, servicing, repairs undertaken to the car and all records will be available. Only 1 service has been undertaken by a non-Skoda garage and that was by the dealership we purchased the car from otherwise it is a Full Skoda Service History. The vehicle can be viewed at our home address as registered on the V5 logbook, ideally evenings or weekends. If we are unable to answer your call do understand we are working professionals so please leave a message and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can. The car will be available from the 13th October 2024 to tie with our new vehicle being ready but the first to see will buy. We can take a holding deposit of 50% before this date with receipt for both parties with signatures and the 50% balance remaining on collection. Ownership/V5 will only be transferred once the balance is paid in full on the day of collection. Condition: Used Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: 4 New Tyres Aug 23, spare tyre in good condition as shown in images. Skoda Service Aug 24. DSG 4x4 Oil, Brake Pads and Discs 23, Brake Fluid 23, New Battery Jan 23. Rear Coil Springs and Offside Rear Arm advisories on MOT Aug 24 but Skoda dealership advised no rush. [PLEASE READ] Using the 'For Sale Template' in the Marketplace
Hi, been a member for almost 3 years and had copious help from other members on here but now selling our Superb but can't find how I list the advert. It's a lovely car that turns heads so would love someone that really loves Skoda to get it 😀 as we're gutted to be selling it. Can someone advise how I add the full listing using the template? Many thanks!!!

Kodiaq 2.0 boot and towing advice (Motability)
Hi all, We currently have a 2012 Superb Hatchback and I am needing to move to a bigger/taller boot to accommodate a mobility scooter and lift, as well as the rest of life's necessities with 2 pre-teen children and a husband. We travel a lot and often fill the boot of our superb and a roof box without a scooter so I'm concerned about ensuring we have the boot space to accommodate using a scooter and lift whilst still having cases and luggage remaining in place. We also have a trailer (hopefully soon to be a caravan!) so will require a trailer. Any images and advice would be greatly appreciated! We love our Superb and would like to stay with a Skoda but it really depends on the above. Thank you in advance!

Replacing rear badge on 2012 hatchback
This might seem a silly question but I don't want to cause unnecessary damage to my car when I can ask you knowledgeable folk! Do I just 'pop' the black dome out of the boot panel or does it need unscrewing from inside? I've previously just bought the metal badge and stuck it onto the black dome but after the 3rd one came off the other day, I've had enough of that game 😂 so I'm looking at buying this >>> https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175903002594?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true Any advice and guidance will be gratefully received. Many Thanks!

Badge Glue advice
Hello, I have a car that does not like to keep it's badges on it's bonnet and boot. I've tried Gorilla glue but they fell off again. So, can anyone recommend a glue that will actually hold the bleeders on!? Thank you :)

The Superb II & FL Picture thread
6 months of owning and we love it even if it has a few flaws due to being 10 years old but she is a beauty! I suspect she was a demonstrator with the colour and the end of the reg! I keep getting people stop me in car parks and tell me how good looking she is 😍🤩 2.0 TDi Elegance 4x4 with L&K pack

Vanity light switch
Hi, My 2012 superb's passenger side vanity light didn't work when I got it - not a problem I thought just needs a new bulb. Replaced the bulb and it worked foe a few seconds and now won't work at all. Is it the switch in the mirror slider and is it repairable myself (I'm a nurse who can change a wheel and will give things a go but not sure if this would be out of my skill set!). Thank you!

Updating my 2012 Superb Columbus Maps
Sorry to jump on an older thread but I too have a Superb Mk2 2012 with the Columbus Unit that has randomly lost any idea as to where we are in the world since purchasing the car 2 months ago. would an update to maps fix it, how do I do this? I don't have a manual for the unit so don't know how to find out which it is specifically? Thank you!

Android phone cuts the phone signal and connection when paired to Columbus.
We had this issue and we.eventually figured out we needed to decline the sim access!
