On this note..... Found some 17" alloys but not sure that they will fit.... So if anyone has experience, does 17" alloys from VW Eos will fit Mk3 Octavia? From all I could find is that theonly thing that would differ that much is that ET would differ but from what I understood, it should not affect the fitment....(EOS has ET47 and my current 18" VRS ones are ET51)... The seller was not much of a help... 😞.

Hey folks, I could see that the subject was brought up before but no definitive answer was given. I run at the moment 225/40 18R on my Mk3 Octy. I know that fitting the bigger sidewall tires, I would run the incorrect mph and I am ok with it. But the question is would it actually fit the 45sidewall? Asking the ones that actually tried and fitted those. Do not want to but four tires and then to realise that they rub on all four corners…. Hope to hear from you guys
