No I haven't, the last owner did some work but unsure about that. I've had no trouble with it so far !! Worth checking over tho ?

Yep I had the water ingress with the pollen filter, have that fixed and got my internal lights and door ground lights back working. Ill check that out tho , thanks a mill

the boot / trunk release on the drivers door is not working! the release for the fill cap works fine. i did have the issue with water ingress and the comfort module - but have fix this since, How ever i can only open the boot with the remote? is there a fix for this or any idea where to look. thanks in advance for any help

has anybody fitted fog lights on the mk1 - ive been looking through the forum and on line but cant find a direct fit. is there an option that will fit from another model or has any one done this themself ?

posted this the intro forum but more relevant here Hello Name is Gav or Coopster (from uk originally) living in Roi, Ive had many many cars in the past here is a little blog of some of them: http://coopster.synthasite.com/ i Brought a Superb 3u mk1 2l 140bhp 99k miles a year ago with the dreaded pollen filter leak ( didn't know at the time of buying) that's actually how i found this site whilst looking for a fix - with thanks 😁 got that sorted fairly handy with the help of theis Group and now looking to mod it a little. so far ive changed the alloys upgraded the lights to leds fitted touchscreen system chipped with racechip.com drilled and grooved discs rear spoiler front light brows tinted windows i have on order front de badge grill and rear light covers. now looking to see if i can install front fog lights in the bumper tho i can t find much to suit just yet. few pics of my Mine and the bits Ive on order
