Hi I just purchased a Skoda Fabia Mk2 1.4Tdi 2007
It had been sitting for 8 Months waiting to be sold, I brought it driving around town is fine and the car does not show any faults when driving under 50kph.
When driving on the high way at cruising speeds at 100kph it lasts five minutes and then cuts out then I can wait a further 3 and I can get driving again to which it only lasts another five minutes
Im thinking It could either be a fuel pump blockage and once it drives after time it just over heats and cuts off. Other ideas I was thinking about could be a crankshaft position sensor which when I owned a alfa romeo once it got hot it just died and I had to wait for it to cool down.
Any ideas? Any one seen or had this issue?
Thanks
