1. Had a similar experience with my Yeti late last year.. Well not quite the same as my tyre literally exploded, leaving a large hole in the outer sidewall, whilst it was parked in my driveway The car had not been driven since the previous day , approx 20 hours.. Only then realised that the Yeti Greenline Elegance does not come with spare tyre, just the repair kit, which of course wasnt much help. Fortunately still covered by breakdown scheme who towed car to tyre supplier as Skoda agents who I bought it off were not interested. Mechanic said he had never seen anything like it and that in his opinion it was a defective tyre. Tried Skoda who said it wasnt their problem and that I should try tyre manufacturer, who in turn after a few months said that the tyre must have been curbed at some time.
2. TIK Am I missing something, how do you get scrappage allowance of £2500 on a 06 Fabia and a good trade in price. If I could get that i'd be down to the dealers tomorrow.
3. Yep, UK based and UK spec. Maybe I should contact Skoda direct for an explanation, sure there is something in sale of goods act. ;)
4. Sorry no ESP on my Roomster 3. It's a 1.6 petrol engine, wonder why they have put discs on the rear, does anybody know the official explanation. Wonder if I can claim a refund or compensation as they have sold me something different to what was described in the brochure,;) By the way anybody interested in buying a fixing kit for roof rails on a roomster.
5. Just taken delivery of a new roomster 3, and it appears to have disc brakes on back and front. Havn't mentioned it to suppliers just in case I may look stupid. Manual says disc front and drum brakes rear, am I missing something.
6. What gets me more than anything is that I have to pay for a fixing kit for them to do the job. Don't get me wrong, I am quite prepared to pay extra for a dealer fitted item, but this is taking the pi** It also means anybody else who wants these rails fitting will have to pay over a £100 less than me as they the dealers now have the fixing kit. Just occurred to me, strictly speaking that fixing kit is surely mine, I have paid for it so I can demand it? I really want the roomster but I do not like to be messed about.
7. Good point, but they say that the part exchange price on existing car will be lower due to 10 week wait if factory ordered. Got me by the short and curlies so I think that I will go for either an astra or focus.
8. Problem is I actually prefer the straight version
9. I have been quoted £450 to have roof rails fitted on a new roomster which I am thinking of ordering, the reason being that it is labour intensive and requires a fixing kit which I have to pay for. As anybody had this done locally and if so how much were you charged. It seems a lot to me as the factory fitted option is around £180. I previously posted this in the wrong section:O

11. Does anybody know when this is to be released in this country. I have seen a photo and it looks great.
12. Hello, just joined this forum, I currently have a 55 reg 1.4 16v Fabia estate which I'm thinking of changing for a Roomster scout, just thought I could get honest opinions on this site
