  1. May be slightly different position to mine then. My connector wires&shroud were zip tied to the cable shroud (larger diameter) stuff I've pointed to in the image. Position of my 4 pin connector was 90 degrees to the picture I sent so it was pretty central to the two radiator fans but right at the front of everything
  2. Hi mate. Mine was under this hose here, cable tied onto the hose underneath. The hose is about 1" diameter. Put your hands in and should be able to feel the 4 pin connector
  3. No worries mate. Really was a head scratcher. Even sought expertise from a VW specialist who thought the loom went straight from the connector at the MAP sensor end to the ECU but there is definitely a half way connector as pictured. Wrapped in the hard plastic ribbed shroud which is bad for the wiring from what I hear. Let us know how you get on and best of luck!
  4. Hi. Found the issue for this on my car. It's a broken earth wire on the intermediate connector (centre front of engine bay underneath the airbox). Had to take airbox off and the connector is pretty much bang in the middle of the radiator fans (above starter motor) Wire rubbed through and when pulling the loom&connector up the wire broke free. Suspect this will be similar to your issue Aaaran. Hope you sort it soon. Just need to put a connector on and will be out of the woods. See photo for ref.
  5. Hi Arrran, I've got the exact same issue as you by the sounds of it. (Superb 3t5 mk2 2014 2.0 TDI 140hp CR DPF) Only intermittent and happens on deceleration or pulling away from a stand still from my experience. Fine on motorway (after turning on and off to get the car out of limp mode) just managed to nurse it back home. Did you find it to be a wiring issue to the sensor? I.e. wire making contact/losing contact again when the car is moving? Would appreciate your reply. Thanks
  6. Hello. Hoping you can help me out on this one. I have just purchased a Superb MkII estate elegance 2.0tdi cr 140 2014 plate. After looking in the boot there is no spare wheel. I found a kit on ebay described as an octavia/superb 2013 to 2020 spare wheel (R16 205). Looks like it's a superb mk3 spare wheel kit. Question is will it fit my car? Are the bolt positions same etc. Confident it will go in boot floor. Just making sure it will fit the car. Also Jack, towing eye and misc tools, I take it these are pretty standard bits of kit? Would appreciate your help. See screenshot of ebay advert attached. Thanks!!!
