  1. Forgot to mention that the noise disappears once the clutch is depressed so it is definitely not related to the power steering system.
  2. Hello, TL;DR: My car a 2019 Octavia with a 6-speed manual (12,000 KM on the odometer) makes a loud groaning sound on turns when the engine & transmission are warm. the sound is the same as in the video below (not my car but same exact sound). Dealership replaced transmission fluid under warranty, sound still appears. They refused to take any further action and claimed it is "normal". Any help in diagnosing the issue is appreciated. I own an Octavia MK III (2019), 1.5L 6-speed manual transmission with 12,000 KM on it. I bought it brand new last January (0 KM car) from the Skoda dealership here and ever since day 1 I would hear a loud groaning noise when turning to the right or left on sharp turns both inside the city and outside on the highway. It sounds exactly like the sound in this video here: I went to the dealership and they claimed that the transmission fluid was the culprit and they replaced it under warranty. I was skeptical but they said there was an internal official announcement or something and this is the fix for my issue. for a couple weeks the sound was gone.k to the 2 weeks later the sound returned but this time they were less frequent and they would only appear once the transmission fluid is well warmed up and mostly on highway speeds. The sound happens mostly when the car is on a slight incline (either uphill/downhill) at lower gears (2nd / 3rd) at around 2k-3k RPM. Of course, I went back to the dealership which took the car for a test drive inside the city. the sound did not occur as the car wasn't warm enough. They refused to do any fixes and claimed it is "normal" to hear noises on the highway since the transmission becomes under stress on turns and it is nothing to worry about. I know enough about cars to know that this isn't right. My personal mechanic says the transmission probably has defective bearings and has to be replaced. I appreciate any help you guys might have in diagnosing this issue. I read on the forums here that it could be the Top mounts but I'm not sure if it is the same sound they were talking about.
