  1. UrbanPanzer that is what a lot of posts are going on about with the Mac address. Whoop the fog is clearing 😆ðŸĪŠ
  2. UrbanPanzer yes it is and you have just answered my question 👍 now to take the plunge and spend the money. I presume I need the VW/Skoda software to tell the can network about the Sat nav etc? A friend is hopefully able to do this if so. Thank you 😁👍
  3. Many thanks Cocain. Lots to peruse and mull over. Not as straight a swap as I first thought.
  4. I have tried, I am new here, but will try again. 👍
  5. Hi. I have read, on here, that you can swap the swing stereo for an Amunsden with Bluetooth and satnav. Has anyone done this and is it really that straight forward? Or is there anything I need to be aware of? Many thanks. The car is a 63 plate 1.6 diesel fabia estate if this matters. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUINE-SKODA-AMUNDSEN-SATELLITE-NAVIGATION-RADIO-HEAD-UNIT-/194490536621?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  6. Engine and suspension have been amazing. The bodywork underneath on the other hand is another story with plenty of patches. But needs lots more so time to go. But have enjoyed driving most of the 220,000miles. Hoping a Fabia estate will become an enjoyable replacement.
  7. Hi. I am new to this. Having had a Citroen BX 1.9Diesel for the last 18years. It is time for it to make it's maker in the breakers. I am almost buying a 2013 1.6diesel estate with only 31,000 miles. I will be scouring this forum tonight for advice/pros/cons. So any pointers to posts/hints or tips on using the forum or car would be very much appreciated. I am used to spannering having kept the BX going for so long ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚. Thanks. 🖖👍
