Skoda Superb V6 4X4
Make & Model: Skoda Superb V6 4X4 Elegance DSG Colour: Maroon (Metalic) Mileage: 96,000 Price: £4,500 Description: This is a very rare car. I think that there are less than 10 in the country. As the name implies this is simply a Superb car. From the outside it looks like a large family saloon but once behind the wheel you will appreciate the engine which is smooth, powerful and sounds great. I bought it 18 months ago when second hand car prices were all over the place and I have put 10K trouble free miles on it since then. As you would expect I have had to do some work on the car as it has 96K on the clock but these engines are good for 200K+ miles. The work I have done includes 2 new front springs, a new rear brake caliper, a new A/C compressor and a new rear wheel bearing and ABS sensor Condition: The car is in very good condition for it's age. There are some paintwork blemishes but they are not noticable and would be cheap to fix. The interior is in excellent condition. The wheels need a refurb Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: Full service history. The usual mixture of main dealers and specialists Extras: Park pilot. Automatic parallel parking! Mods: Non Shipping: £## - Optional Collection: Yes East London Pictures: <attach as many or as few as you want within the limits>

2010 Skoda Superb V6 4x4 Air Conditioning
Morning fellow Superb owners, The air conditioning in my Superb is not working as it should. It blows coolish air but no way the icy blast one would expect. I asked my dealership to check it when they were doing some other work to the car and they found the gas levels to be correct. I didn't ask them to investigate further. My question is should I ask my main dealer to sort it or should I try a mobile outfit? Does anybody know of a mobile or a "fixed" air con repair company in East London or Essex. Thanks in advance for your assistance Regards Pete

2010 Skoda Superb V6 4x4 Adaptive Headlights
Thanks for the response ethel. I plan to replace the bulbs in due course but there is an underlying issue that I want to get to the bottom of first. Your description of the light's power is totally different from what I am seeing. On dipped beam all I am getting is the Zenons. They are pretty bright and move around pretty much as I would expect. However the beam that they produce is quite short. When I put on main beam all that seems to happen is that the halogens light up but the beam from these is not more than 10 feet in front of the car. I never get flashed if I drive around on main beam. I will try to work out if the "shutters" are working but I think not. There are no errors showing on the dash and my OBDI reader is not showing any errors that relate to the lights. I strongly suspect that the self levelling may be at fault. I have read in this forum that if the self levelling unit is not getting a signal then it goes into its default position which is fully down. I plan to check the sensors on the suspension front and back but if they look OK I'm not sure what to do next. Do you know if it is possible to dismantle the headlight unit to see if the "works" inside look OK and maybe test them to see if they are doing what they should. I'm hesitant to take it to a dealer as problems of this type can take expensive hours to resolve

2010 Skoda Superb V6 4x4 Adaptive Headlights
Hello fellow Superb owners, I am struggling to work out if the adaptive headlights on my Superb are working correctly. The Zenon lights seem to work fine. They do their little dance when I start the car and turn when the car turns and switch from wide to narrow beam when the speed changes. If I push the indicator stalk forward the blue main beam light comes on but the "beam" is directly in front of the car. There is little or no illumination "down the road". Also, if I leave the headlights on full, I never get flashed by oncoming motorists. I have read on this forum that the headlights are self levelling and if there is a fault the default position is down. Is there an easy way to check if the self levelling function is working? Do the halogen bulbs have two filaments - high and low? Could it be that I simply have to replace the bulb because the main beam filament has burnt out? Any assistance gratefully received

2010 Skoda Superb V6 4x4 Bluetooth unit
Hello fellow Skoda owners. I bought my Superb about 2 months ago and I can honestly say that I love this car. I have had a couple of issues, unsurprisingly given it's age, but I have managed to sort most of them thanks to this forum. I am still struggling to find the right unit to allow me to connect to the car with my iPhone. I have trawled through most of the posts on this topic and I thought that I had found the right unit on eBay but it turned out not to be the right one. I now have a Nokia branded unit (see photo attached) the part No is 3C0 035 729 E so if anyone needs one of these please get in contact. I think that the version of Bluetooth in my current unit is not supported by my phone as I get a "phone not supported" message when I try to pair it with my car. Can somebody tell me which unit I should buy please, or is the best option to replace the Columbus head end with something with built in Bluetooth? If possible I would like to retain the original head unit for the sake of authenticity. Thanks in advance for your help
