  1. I don't really consider the Maxton ones 'side skirts' and they even call them side skirts diffusers on the website. I'm just not a fan of the bare sills
  2. Ah that's unfortunate, then is Rieger the only company that makes a complete side skirt?
  3. Does anyone know if these fit or how long they are to measure against? I think it would be a nice touch to the side of the car, found this image of auto trader
  4. My pipes are both too hot too touch, I couldn't hold them at all, the car gets up to temperature after a few miles,
  5. Could the matrix be blocked partially and there is enough flow for the water to pass and have 2 hot pipes?
  6. So I have a 2018 VRS TSI and it's that time of the year where a little bit of heat would help with comfort driving and being able to see out the window, but the car struggles to blow luk warm air, so my initial thought was blocked heater matrix with the problems with the silicon bag but I've pulled the panel off beside the glove box and both pipes are on the matrix are hot so there is plenty of flow there. The next check was the servo to mix the hot and cold and as I turn the temperature wheel it seems to move to either end, so I am assuming it is fine, I've done the calibration of the vents with the AC and front vent button and I'm stuck there scratching head non the warmer, so any help or ideas would be great thanks
  7. Update Emailed the German store and they will post it to the UK so all is well
  8. I'm looking to purchase a spoiler extension and I prefer the Milotec to the Maxton style. Is there any supplier's in the UK or do I need to order from Germany? Just I've had recent experience of trying to order a splitter from Germany and they wouldn't post it so ended up going with a Maxton splitter, thanks
  9. After having a look on a thread or two I ordered mudflaps from Skoda parts and I got stuck into it this morning, fronts fitted like a dream, good job, but the rears don't seem to fit the profile of the bumper? Anyone know why this would happen? Does the MK3.5 VRS rear bumper still follow the MK3 profile
  10. Yeah full fleet of estate Skoda's mainly Octavia's and Scouts, but they have a few superbs as well, yeah I'm down south often enough and they love to the Hyundai i40 estate lol
  11. Thanks that is great info to read up on, looks like a no on the VAQ diff, honestly I am quite easy on the throttle, it feels like I go as far as 25-30% throttle and the traction control is flashing and the tyres are spinning pulling out of junctions on a wet day
  12. I've a set of Kuhmo's on (no experience with these before), look like they where put on just before I bought the car, they look like all weather tyres and i suspect I'll have this issue when there is a lot of rain any time of the year
  13. Hi, I've had my MK3.5 Octavia VRS for 5 months now and in the good weather traction was never really an issue, but in the past week or 2 with the weather declining, getting pulled out of junctions is becoming a but of a problem, I'm getting a lot of 1 tire action and it's not fun with no grip and hoping I'll get pulled out in time So my question is this, if I was to find a 245 randomly in a breakers yard or an aftermarket LSD at a good price can they be swapped in reality easily or it there major work in it? It's a DSG also I've had a search but can't find an answer Thanks
  14. Thanks, it's a great colour, I've seen a lot off cars in the short time I've had it jumping on the brakes as they think it's an unmarked police car 😆, first mod will be to add some mudflaps, honestly what were they thinking not having any
  15. Well its about time I actually joined Briskoda. I recently bought my first Skoda, a Octavia VRS TSI 230 estate apsolutly love it, acres of space and handles great for a family wagon, haven't any great pictures of it but I have of plans to upgrade a few things so I will be pestering about random things no doubt and get some decent pictures up
