  1. While I am feeling the luckiest person having my 1.5 dsg delivered in exactly 4 months - 16 weeks . Ordered 10 th of september , delivered 14 th of january . On the other hand I feel very angry for people ordered the car in march - may - june , july and their car still keeps changing production weeks. Cars with same specs like mine or less ( SEL Style with HUD and leather seats). I insist that you should complain directly to Skoda headquarters of your Country and Skoda headquarters in Czek. by writing to them every day complaining not so much about delays , because we all know most of the reasons , but for not keeping at all a priority , as they are obliged , on a roughly first come first served basis . If someone wants I can send documentation regarding my delivery. By the way did someone had his car delivered like me or sooner during the last year ? I am curious .
  2. There is a possible explanation for the mess in the car deliveries .Of course not at all logical and just. Orders of March to August were produced incomplete due to lack of semiconductos and other parts. They were put to large parking lots , which as I read in the news they were full , waiting for the missing parts. Since production had to continue and some parts came in they put them in the new cars they were producing , in order to ship them immediately and continue production . So some lucky cars ordered in September and October were delivered or waiting for delivery very soon. This completly wrong and injust way is completely wrong and I believe those who have a car waiting for 8 9,10 months should press Skoda directly to change their strategy . Emails , complaints etc. Not the dealers because they are aware of all these and want to keep smooth relations with Skoda. PS. As I have already mentioned I was a lucky one and ordered on 10 th of September and received my car on the 13 th of January. ..!!!! Octavia 1.5 mhev hatchback DSG SEL Style with HUD , camera .
  3. It means the car is produced . It is either awaiting shipment or shipped or already on the dealer
  4. I am feeling very very lucky today. My dealer called me for receiving the car tommorow at 15.00. SEL 1.5 dsg with leather , Camera , and HUD . Order 10 September Confirmed beginning of October Produced week 51 Of course there is a catch , the price increase was 2000 € (I had an open price). The 900 for the car and the rest 1100 because the master dealer in Greece decided to lower the corporate discount. I did a claim and they gave me 500 back. It seems now in the shortage Skoda and the dealers sell less cars and they want to pass their profit loss to consumers.
  5. Hello and happy new year to all . For me it started very well since I received a call from the dealer today that my car arrived at the port on the 30th of December. ( octavia hatchback mhev 1.5 dsg graphite grey ) . With this note I would like to give notice to many of you that wait for their cars that something is moving lately in Skoda . For sure no priorities are kept and nobody understands the plan of car deliveries they have , if they have one. The car was ordered beginning of September ,accepted by skoda on the 10th of September. Produced on the 8th of December , arrived in Piraeus port Greece on 30th of December . Forecast of receiving the car from dealer 20th of January. So I feel like winning the lottery reading all the stories on the forum , but I realy believe something is moving quicker in Skoda lately . Best of luck to all.
  6. Hi Nick No misunderstanding at all . I really understand how you feel . The fact is that Skodas priority on delivery is a mess . I would go to koilakos and push them for more info . Not that you will get the car sooner , its not up to them , but at least you will not be on the blind. Is the price you agreed fixed or open on delivery ? I really think and wish you will have good news in the next days.
  7. Hello Nick , I understand your concerns for the mess in production dates . I dont really know what happens . I have a theory of my own which is the following. Due to semiconductors supply problem they produced a lot of cars without them , waiting to finish them as they come . These cars are not considered Produced . Now that these large parking lots are full , they are finishing and shipping the cars that are produced , since they dont have spaces anymore and leaving older orders behind. Of course this is not fair at all , but it lowers costs for skoda. I would be very happy if I could drive my car on February as the dealer told me when I ordered . Now it seemsI will get it a little earlier !!! I ordered it through Sotiropoulos , where did you ordered yours ? I hope you get your car the soonest.
  8. Hello from Athens . My story for an Octavia 1.5L dsg style edition + leather seats , head up and rear camera , (I believe its what you call SEL) is as follows : - Order and small prepayment 10th of September 21 in a skoda dealer in Athens. It is a buy not lease . - Confirmed order by Skoda sometime in early October ( I dont remember exact date ) given production week 45 - mid November production week went to 49. - week 49 which ended today and I received message from dealer that the car was produced and going to port to be shipped . Estimated delivery during January. I believe them since they gave me the VIN number of the car and I checked it. VIN numbers are given as soon as a car is produced. Reading many posts in this topic I consider myself very lucky . Please dont be jealous yet , since shipping and paperwork in Greece may take more than 2 months. I hope the best delivery times possible to all of you .
