  1. I used to have a Vauxhall insignia which would switch off the cruise control if the revs dropped below 1000, I presume this must be true on other vehicles too.
  2. Right okay, if I bought a kit designed for stalks without the trip computer buttons. Could the wiring and ECU could be used with some stalks that have the trip computer buttons? Or is there deeper difference?
  3. Hi all, I've been toying with the idea of fitting cruise control to my Roomster for a while but the kits are a bit pricier than I can afford. I've seen a cheap second hand kit on ebay but it doesn't have the buttons for the MFD. My question is, could I use the wiring setup of this kit and then buy separately the stalks with the extra buttons or is there other differences that would stop this from working? Many thanks George
  4. Ah right, so even if the struts and springs fit, the likelihood it that it would need a helping hand to get past the point of opening it's self. I measured the closed gap on the strut where a spring could sit and it's only around 16mm so even a retro fitted spring would have to be tiny to fit and unlikely to have much force to release it. I guess I'll have to stop being a lazy bugger and get out of bed haha
  5. Hi all, I'm in the process of make a Roomster camper and thought it would be really neat to be able to remotely open the book whilst in bed. I've seen that you can get strut/spring kits to automatically open fabia boots, does anyone know if these work for roomsters or if there are any made for them? Thanks George
