  1. Yes looking at the history it's had oil change and damper around a year ago ,so hopefully all good. And yes I'm pretty certain it's the same as VW . Thanks
  2. Hi Looking at buying a Octavia estate 4x4 1.6 TDI . Now I have owned a normal Octavia before and that was fine , but I tow a caravan and looking at low running costs for work daily commute etc, but something that could get me out of a slippery field lol. Now I did have a Tiguan 4 motion and that was superb wish I had not sold it really. What I want to know is ,,, is the 4wd system the same for both Tiguan 4 motion 2013 and Octavia 4x4 2015 ? I would have thought they would use the same system.
  3. Well the fault as I said when the AA came was injector no four and reading threads on here that seems a common problem with people replacing injectors etc coil packs and still getting problems if I thought I could replace all injectors and have peace of mind I would but as I said many have done that without success
  4. Hi Recently brought myself a 2012 1.6 TDI green line to save tax and fuel but it's been a nightmare first week I had it drove a 1000 miles no problems then when returning from a 200 Mike trip coil light came on and limp mode turned engine off waited ten minutes then fine drove twenty miles and happened again called AA diagnosis injector no 4 drove home in limp mode then next morning started car up completely fine took it to a garage who said let's try new fuel filter and some cleaner and been fine for a month ,well until yesterday that is when it happen again now reading these forums this sounds like a common problem so much for VAG reliability I like the car but already feel like ditching it surely if the injector was faulty it would stay faulty , could be coilpack or connection or maybe a faulty 100 relay what are your thoughts Thanks
