  1. Just wanted to wade in with the volume online about the best replacement tyres. Bought my beast in 2014, 7Y and 55k later, it is still near faultless. Other than servicing and tyres, this car has not cost me a penny. One of the best cars I have ever been in, let alone driven / owned. (Trained to drive at 130+ mph I think I can say I know a few bits about driving, speed, safety etc....) I have given myself square eyes watching every online review about best tyres. Seems the majority say choose between Michelin PS4 or Goodyear Eagle Assy 5. I have just replaced my Goodyear Assy 3's. These tyres lasted me nearly 3Y and approx 30k miles. They were brilliant. Whilst I have no doubt the Mich PS4 are great, ALL things considered I think the Goodyear's just edge it for THIS car. I cannot fault my previous Goodyears. Handling, noise, grip, wear .....all outstanding. Blackcircles and Halfords were offering some decent offers, I paid 80 quid each for Goodyear 5's. When you remember that it is only a small patch of rubber (x4) that is all that sticks you to the road, tyres is one area I wouldn't go budget. Good luck.
