First post! Not usually one to be on forums but I'll try to keep it sweet and simple. Does anyone know the operating conditions, or parameters for the radiator fans? Put simply, what temperature do they start, what temperature(s) do they ramp up (Or go full speed) Additionally, how does the radiator outlet temperature sensor (on the thermostat housing/flange) come into play when they turn on and how fast they spin (if that's what the sensor does). Thank you in advance, my Haynes manual doesn't say much at all about this.

Hello forum community, I'm here to join this skoda community, ask questions from now and again, as well as hopefully answer some and share my experience. I have a 2008 MK2 Octavia with a BKD engine, DSG, ticking along with 375,000km and some rust from these salty Finnish roads. I'm originally from Australia as well!
