The car to the best of my knowledge does not have ESP which I believe means Electronic Stability Program. However the TCS and ABS light are always on when the car starts jerking.

Thanks so much MicMac for the right engine code and for the suggestion. Once the ASR/TCS is switch off, the car starts jerking again.

The engine code V420 and another number shown on the engine is 038103373R. Please see the picture of the engine and the error light. The issue is this: When i start accelarating, the car will start jerking and will start slowing down and reducing the speed. If I continue to accelerate, forcing the movement, the ABS and TCS light will show up. Once the ABS and TCS light shows up, a warning sound will be heard and from that time, the car will accelerate without jerking but the error light continuously ON. See the pictures

I have a Skoda Octavia diesel car 2009 model. The vehicle jerks when accelerating. The gets worst if climbing a hill. If acceleration is forced, it will activate the Antilock brake System (ABS) and the Traction Control System (TCS). The fuel filter has been checked and clean as well the air filter. What can be the cause and whats the suggested solution???
