Thanks for the response. I had a look at the valve end wiring, all clean and dry. Where about is the other end of the wiring please, the ECU?

Hiya, I'm hoping you can help with a problem with my wife's 2015 1.2 petrol Skoda (is it a MK2, I'm not sure?). The engine management light came on, so I bought a cheap code reader, which showed two codes - PO443, and a similar one which said 'purge control valve short circuit' (something like that anyway) PO443 is 'evaporative emission system purge control valve circuit'. I have replaced the valve, and reset the engine light. Unfortunately, after several miles, it's back on again. Only the P0443 code now though. I reset and tried again, but the fault returned. I'm hoping someone might know what to do next. Any help appreciated. Cheers.
