  1. Update : Leak seems to be coming from where bleeder assembly is. Spoke to a mechanic and he explained the reason the clutch may be getting stuck is that it’s drawing air in. New bleeder assembly on way so fingers crossed it’s a quick fix. Thanks for everyone suggestions
  2. Will get someone to look at the pipe work and see if that could possibly be the issue. Seems like it would make more sense, thank you!
  3. Just had a look now, looks like it’s leaking a bit near the gearbox where you’d bleed the clutch near passenger wishbone
  4. Brakes are fine haven’t noticed any difference in them. Was thinking might’ve been slave cylinder as been mentioned previously. Will get one ordered just to cover my back, wouldn’t hurt to give it a try
  5. I’m not sure if they bled the slave, I’m assuming not. It was a Sachs Dmf kit, getting another slave sent out just Incase but don’t have much hope it will solve anything
  6. Have a MK1 1.9 TDI Fabia VRS PD130 recently got it mapped to 220bhp with new turbo, stage 2 clutch kit, whole new intercooler system, map sensor etc etc. However the clutch just isn’t right, I will be stopped in traffic and go to set off and the clutch is right to the floor. If I pull it back up with my foot it’s back straight away. I’ve bled it twice now thinking that may be the issue but it’s not. Only tonight noticed that now the car is leaking what seems like coolant but doesn’t have the coolant smell. it’s hard to tell where exactly the leak is coming from as it’s not leaking loads so spoke to some mates that are mechanics and they said it could be the slave cylinder. The clutch kit I got put in 3 weeks ago came with new slave cylinder so confused how that could be faulty already. Any other suggestions?? Been trying to find a slave cylinder online however seem a bit lost. Don’t want to fork more money out into the car for it to fail again ( if it is that). Anyone had similar issues and been able to resolve them or have any links to a slave cylinder that would fit??
