yep its the hard top one,i put the foot down a tad when she said she would like the soft top one lol but it is a se model so leather seats etc and its in the best colour blue.

well i pick up my new car tomorrow. its good bye skoda hello ford getting a 'cough' sportka so the other half can go on the insurance cause she only passed her driving test i will be sorry to see mr ferby go but maybe in a couple of years time i can come back

05 vrs owned just over 2 years 51k (25k by me) new turbo at 50k on 3rd set of new front tyres and rear just replaced a few rattles but only realy the speakers i put in which i can fix when the weather improves(so in 2020) and the instument panel crecks sometimes (i find if its mostly when i 1st get in the car on a cold day and if i press the clear plastic cover it goes away for a while ) new consol bushs with the 50k service new brake pads front and back (disks were tickity boo) thining of putting the origanal stero back in cause in the 2 years ive had the dvd player i have never used it and its a jvc xcel thing so its fiddley to change radio staions and turn the volume up/down and just about everyting else along with the romote control which has lived in the wee pocket at the side of the seat. passenger side headlight and side beam has new bulbs (never do i want to change the side light bulb again) apart from that its been great,but i will be looking to sell it next year and get myself something different cause i think im getting my mid life crisis and want to go back to the 70's/80's for my next car and get a 'cough' escort (mk2 or a mk3 rs or a cossie,or i may go the fikkle french route with a pug 205/309 gti or r5 turbo)

i have just had a phone call from skoda customer services uk reguards a goodwill payment for my blown turbo and they told me in the cource of the phone call that the new fabia vrs will be released next year no details on the engine etc but its 100% going to be released in 2010:)

well i let the garage do all the leg work with mine it cost me £1000 inc fitting and the wee bobby dazler pulls like a train now its a lot better than the 1.6 derv focus i was driving while it was in the shop although it was good of my dad to let me borrow his car lol

im getting the car back on monday and will looking out next year for a octy vrs to take its place by that time swmbo will have 1 years driving experiance and i will be able to get into a higher grouped car again without it becoming really expensive. so next year i will a furball for sale

well i got it into a indy garage and hes getting me a original part from euro parts for £600 and fitting it for £200 so not bad skoda told me the turbo on my car was a borg warner type turbo? and a new one was £1250 + fitting on top so well pleased. i was going to go for a hybrid and go POWER but i like the furball as standand cause swmbo just passed her driving test and wants to drive it lol. i will prob see what its worth and have a looksy about to see whats on the market then keep it for 1-2 more years

well yesterday with my 51k millage wee fabia the turbo went. looking at around 1.5k for a new one fitted from skoda or around 900-1k for a recon one with a 1year garintee. the last 2+ ears i have no probs with the car but now when i get it fixed i will prob be looking to get rid and change to something else :( now just to start looking at my options cause i will get around 4-4.5k as a trade in for mine and i really dont want to go into big money for a different car. so thought.........do i keep for 1 more year then change before the warinty of the new turbo runs out or change stright away. or do i just keep it and hope the worry that it wont go again i will have goes away lol

i just got my 50k service from johns and i found the experiance to most satisfing. they told me the console bushs were split and i need back brake pads and i found the price to be ok for the bushs.(i can change brake pads myself) i sat in a very comfy waiting area and my car was cleaned and had a nice smell to it when i got it back i will be back there for my 60k service and will try the dealership 1st for my next car

when i drive i get 45-48mph but put my learner wife in the hotseat and she getts 60+ no probs lol
