  1. Thank is for that - I will keep a note of it in case it happens again. To be clear, I generally turn off the radio before I turn off the ignition. Old habits die hard. Never been told anything else. Sometimes I don’t do that but if not, it always goes off when I take the key out of the ignition. Last evening nothing would turn off the radio. I got out of the car and locked it and the radio continued to play - entertaining the birds! I was so furious (being worried about my partner just added to everything else) as we bought this car just before we moved to Devon two years ago - I think it was one of the first Kamiq models in the country. We certainly didn’t think it would start to go wrong quite so soon. Also, the lever that raises and lowers the driver’s seat, hasn’t worked for almost a year. Not at all what I expected from a brand new car produced before the virus was known of. We ordered it December 2019 and took delivery Valentines Day 202.
  2. Hi Skoda Assist sent a helpful gent who removed a fuse that runs the air bags and then the radio was able to be turned off. He replaced the fuse. I had had an error message come up the day before saying SOS emergency call Workshop. He is pretty sure it’s all tied up and told me there’s an update available re the SOS error message. The SOS call button in the roof light cluster had gone red before the fuse was taken out. It’s now gone back to green. The car is booked in tomorrow to have this looked at and the service brought forward by a couple of weeks so I don’t have to take it in again. They’re lending me a car as my partner is terribly poorly and has a stream of hospital appointments so I need a vehicle at all times. Thanks for your interest.
  3. Got home tonight and the car radio wouldn’t turn off. Any clues? Waiting for Skoda Assist to arrive but try to do things myself if I can. it may be a red herring but I also have an error message saying the SOS emergency call facility isn’t working - anyone think the two things are connected?
