It got under your skin by the sounds of it, happy nostalgia I hope! My partner’s had a long line of Golf GTIs so I can appreciate the fun/comfort/practicality of your current ride. I took a Golf GTD Estate out on a test drive because I liked the familiarity of a VW but I found it really dull, no excitement. Just as well really, my heart was already sold on a vRS and getting the petrol version was a Brucey bonus!

Hi there, Bought my first Skoda a few weeks ago and I’m loving it. It’s a 2017 Octavia VRS TSI Estate (67 place, facelift model) in Meteor Grey. Being a mountain biker and also owning 2 large dogs, my 3 door MINI Cooper S just wasn’t cutting it! When I started hunting for its replacement I knew I wanted all the fun of the MINI but with the practicality of an estate and my new car does it in bucket loads.
