  1. Thanks for the response. The crate (a Lintran dog box) will fit. On their site you tell them what car you have and it tells you which box you need. Fortunately, the answer is the same for both the MKII and MKIII. I am now after knowing more about the compatibility of the variable boot floor and rails.
  2. Hi, I’m just replacing my MK II Octavia Estate (2012) for a MK III one (2019). I have the variable boot floor in the old one and need one in the new car for a dog crate so the doors can open. For the existing one the rails are covered in material. From the online user’s manual I can see the new ones appear to be plastic and more high-tech with upper and lower positions. Does anyone know if the old rails will correctly attach, and the old floor will fit the new car please? The old floor is 96.5 cm wide. The front edge is curved, 103.5 cm at the edges and 107.5 cm in the centre. Thanks, James
