I don’t think I was going to be so lucky. It is an Octavia iV… Spanish government is giving some subsidies to buy EV and Phev cars. If I wait so long and then I have to cancel my order it is probably there is no more funds.

I have been asking to the dealer today (in Madrid) and they have no news about delays. They say my car (Octavia iV) has already date of manufacture next March (they have shown the date in their computer) and advise me not to trust in all what I read in forums like this.. Something that I am sure is that here there are a lot of people from different countries with delay problems and it is going to be worse soon because the fire. Sadly I have cancelled my order. Very hard decision actually.

In my case when I signed they gave me an Skoda umbrella as a gift 😂. Now I think it was some kind of signal. It is going to rain a lot until getting my Octavia.

Exactly what my dealer said yesterday. I sent them some links about the last weekend fire but they don’t know anything and haven’t received any information from Skoda… Obviously they are up to date but Skoda can’t say to their customers that they will get their car someday in 2023. That would mean a great loss of customers.

Yes, but I don’t think that information is correct. I mean, Octavia iV is the only model with that delivery time. Any other VAG car is expected to be delivered in 2022. They manufacture more phev cars not only Octavia iV like Superb iV that are 9 months, so here is something wrong.

Hello everybody. I am from Spain. Today starts the waiting period for my Octavia iV. Many months ahead. Dealer told me October but I am ready to wait till 1Q 2023. This is crazy.. I hope this period will finally be shorter. It is great to have this forum to make this waiting easier.
