You can change the steering wheel to a MFSW or you might just mount the switchpanels and interconnecting cable instead of the blanking panels on your steering wheel. Either way you will also need a new airbag cable with extra wires for the MFSW connections. 10 min job, and very little coding needed.

You can use the aftermarket Sub intended for Golf VII. It is made by German manufacturer Helix, and should give a major lift in sound quality. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-VW-Golf-VII-Plug-Play-Soundsystem-300W-Sinus-GTI-Tuning-/181571414235?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item2a467fe8db -

All Octavia 3's have the EA288 engines allready. Mine is built 49/14 and has the CLHA (EA288) engine. My dealer told me that The TDI 105 BHP will increase to 115 BHP and the TSI 140 BHP will be 150 BHP. No mention og COD though

That could be caused by differences in design of the aerials. Combi has DAB in the left rearmost side window, Hatch uses the back window -

http://www.mk-fahrwerkstechnik.de/ is a good place to look. B8 dampers plus springs are about 700 Euros - not too bad. -
You can get OEM replacement rubber including the plastic thingies on dhe end of the wiper blade. About 5£ from your local VW dealer. http://www.my-gti.com/1777/replacing-the-blade-insert-on-the-aero-wiper-blades-on-volkswagen-seat-audi-and-skoda-vehicles

Here's my new toy with winter wheels. Elegance spec 1,6 TDi DSG. I've recently retrofitted original reversing camera, and I have the black grill surround waiting to be mounted. -

Aftermarket multifunction steering wheel
strandgaard replied to tommyt1985's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
It is possible if your car has a Highline CAN Gateway. You will need the steeringwheel itself and an airbag cable to allow communication with the controller in the steering Wheel. -
I bought these: http://www.ebay.de/itm/T10-9-LED-5050-SMD-W5W-Auto-Seiten-Wedge-Gluhlampe-Lampe-161-168-194-2825-Weis-/171574964112?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item27f2aa2f90 They work perfectly even in the license plate lights.

Me neither, but if that's the last little bit missing to make your 35.000 £ car work exactly like you've always dreamed?

This: http://www.s2tpp.com/VW.html could be a solution.

The Update Portal mentions a MirrorLink upgrade for Columbus and it only lists one Amundsen - 6.5" screen, no DVD drive but with MirrorLink. That must be the Gen2 (Yeti only model). The picture shows the 5.8 inch version though. And what if the MirrorLink upgrade exists, what should you do if the car is delivered with Mitsumi instead of USB ?? Amundsen In addition to a radio and satnav, through the Amundsen infotainment satnav it is possible to control the car’s settings using the Car button on the control panel, without the necessity of a Maxi DOT display. Properties of the Amundsen navigation system: 6.5” high-capacity colour touch-screen TFT display supporting multi-touch MirrorLink™ Bluetooth® and text messages Reception of AM/FM frequency bands and DAB Aux-In Two SD card slots 2.5 D satnav Bluetooth® audio streaming Surround sound settings You can also use the Amundsen infotainment system to access the MyDestinations web application, which lets you generate Special Destinations (vCard), an Image with GPS coordinates (where you can use the navigation) as well as the option of preparing particular points of interest (PPOIS) for putting in your GPS. Updates available for Amundsen infotainment navigation: Bluetooth® Maps Radio station logos MirrorLink® User manual for device Amundsen

I dropped another VIN. I get the same errors wen I try to do the download.

My car is due to be built in week 49 - so hopefully with a Gen 2 Amundsen

Has anybody done a software upgrade of their Bolero/Amundsen or Columbus to include MirrorLink? It seems to be available on the Skoda website The upgrade includes: Bluetooth® Maps Radio station logos MirrorLink® Link: http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com I don't have my car yet so i can't do any updates yet. Edit: It would seem that there is a change in the production Nov 3rd 2014 which might include the MirrorLink software. Does anybody have a car produced after Nov. 3?
