Hi All, Been lurking around since I bought my vrs mk2 octavia a few years ago. Reason for my post is I have that annoying chirp sound when I unlock and lock the car. Tried looking how to turn the annoying noise off. Can’t find settings through the car so assume I need vagcom or similar to access the ecu and turn it off? Don’t really wanna spend a load of cash to turn it off. Is there anybody with this near me in Farnborough that I could use this program or similar for a few mins to turn it off? Long shot I know but I looked up prices for vagcom and I really don’t wanna spend £100 for a cable if I’m being honest. Also I think my car has been remapped. Is there anyway to tell? Is it possible to see through vagcom or similar or is it a rolling road and a map program? Car is Ex mod and the history is non existent for obvious reasons. Any help is much appreciated or can be pointed in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks all Ed
