This subject has been covered before on here but not with my specific problem as far as I'm aware, but apologies if it has. I have a 2020 Octavia Estate 1.5TSI SE TECH and one day around 9 months ago the Headlight Range Control alert started coming on every time I started the engine. I've casually taken a couple of unsuccessful quick looks to see if I could get rid of it, so decided today to take a proper look. According to the manual, I need to choose the correct setting from 1 through to 6 according to my weight/load. However, apart from the fact that changing this according to what the car weighs every time I use it seems preposterous to me, I keep getting the alert no matter which setting I put it on. So I'm at a complete loss as to what to do with it short of going out of my way to take it to a dealer. Has anyone else come across this before?
