  1. Hi guys, thank you all for your replies. To update you, yesterday I was taking a better look at the whole thing, and I think there is no way around me not going to the mechanic to fix it. So my understanding from what I see is that the bottom more plasticky piece has some sort of rectangular shaped pieces that are supposed to "click" with a more hardened plastic bumps. What I am seeing is that when the whole thing came apart when I went over the bump at the bottom of the hill, is that all those areas where is it supposed to "click" are gone. Most likely, by it being violently removed, they were destroyed... which is really unfortunate. Basically, half of the lower rear bumper is unhinged from the top part, but it cannot click because those "bumps" are half gone. Honestly, I don't know if this is a good design or not. Perhaps if the bumps that it clicks too were harder, I could've just put it back. Or perhaps the whole rear bumper would have been completely destroyed. All in all, it looks like I need a full replacement of the rear bumper. I am not sure how much that is going to go for, but hopefully it is under 1.5k... Again, thanks everyone!
  2. Hi all, hope you are all doing great. I hope someone can give me a tip here... I had a small accident few days back, I thought I was at the end of the road of the hill, but I obviously not. I turned, and basically scratched the bottom left part of this plasticky rear bumper, and it became dislodged. It does not seem broken, I've tried to push it into place, but I am failing at that. Also tried searching for some videos, but haven't found anyone fixing that 2nd half of the rear bumper, other than people taking out the rear bumper as one. Any clue what I can do? I'd really like to avoid to visit the mechanic... Thank you
  3. Hi all! I hope you can help me here. I'm a very, very new car owner, only had my lovely 2021 Skoda Karoq 1.5TSI Automatic since last year, and I'm trying not to mess it up too much. I was living in Poland when I bought my car, and I have recently moved to Switzerland. The issue that I have is that in Switzerland, the front license plate is much smaller than in Europe. Switzerland sizes: 300 x 80 mm (front) and 300 x 160 mm (rear). Europe sizes: 520 by 110 mm (20.5 by 4.3 inches) 520 by 120 mm (20.5 by 4.7 inches) As you can see from the attached picture, when I remove the front license plate holder, there are 2 holes in each side that would fit the EU plate holder, and a small indent that I would assume would be for countries with smaller plates (e.g. Switzerland). I assume there is no way around other than drilling those indents to place the new license. However, can anyone recommend what do I do to "fix" the 2 open holes? Thank in advance!
