Hiya all, I've recently got an 03 octavia 1.9tdi. Good runner and I'm happy with it. But there is an issue with the central locking I'm just starting to try an resolve. (I knew when I bought it) Both keys do not activate the locking mechanism.. they flash red so the battery is good but I have to manually unlock from the boot and its random which doors unlock. However, I cant unlock from the drivers lock, there's just no resistance there. To lock I use the drivers side door and its random which doors lock. I've been trolling thru this site and others trying to wrap my head around it and I know its been covered many times and I'm guessing water ingress plays a part... but does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this?
