  1. I'm a big fan of sleeper cars and (don't shoot me) rat rods, but as a PD enthusiast I like my cars to look and sound fairly normal, but perform when necessary
  2. Oh and just to clarify, I'm 38, hate burberry and haven't said innit for about 20 years, each to their own but I can't stand the f*cking owl noise or the bangs and pops on throttle lift....must be getting on a bitπŸ˜…
  3. Hello, I know it's controversial but I love the PD engines, it'll be a sad day when we can't run them anymore. Just bought a 07 Fabia Vrs largely unmolested, no wide mouth, just some AP coilovers and a smoke free remap by PD Tuning. Lurked here for a while before making the leap. My last PD engine (Mk4 golf gt tdi) finally died was written off after 220k. My mechanic recommended the Fabia mk1 and now I don't think I'll look anywhere else. Thinking about a mk1 Octavia Vrs estate for work (gardener - just tools yet still a nice daily). Will probably be upgrading the performance, but nothing crazy. Love this car, miles better than the golf imo. So yeah hi all
