  1. Driver's side rear door will not open. Sounds like electric actuator is not working, so need to access lock for replacement. Have searched help videos but none covers my model where there are 5 Torx headed trim panel screws that can't be reached with door closed. How do I remove panel please? Ian
  2. 2002 Octavia Elegance 1.9 TDI Estate. Is there a simple way to disable the auto re-locking feature, which happens when my car is remotely unlocked but door not opened please? Thanks for your help. Ian
  3. Thanks to all who replied re my airbag warning light problem. The cause appears to have been a disturbed wire, when something became stuck under the passenger seat, causing the fault light to come on. My garage used their diagnostic kit to reset the airbag warning system and all is now OK. Hump
  4. Thanks to members who have replied to my earlier post. Having investigated further, the dashboard symbol is a yellow seat belt/airbag warning light, that disappears when engine is started, then remains on when vehicle is driven. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Ian Posted 2 January 2002 Octavia 1.9 TDI Estate. Advice please. Seat belt indicator light remains on when vehicle is started and driven. Is this something that I can investigate and fix, or does it need to be looked at by a specialist. Thanks for help. 7. 2002 Octavia estate 1.9 TDI. 119,000 miles Occasionally engine flatlines at 3,000 - 3500 rpm. When accelerating uphill engine sometimes stutters, with clicking noise apparent from under bonnet nearside. Have tried injector cleaners and long runs without improvement. Would welcome advice and comments. Thank you.
