,Hi Keith I noticed something a few weeks ago specifically when climbing up a very steep hill. No recent maintenance. Changing to a newer car. No scan. Not dodgy fuel. One thing that might be relevant is that I've recently moved from a fairly isolated location where every need meant a minimum 40km round trip. Now I can be in the nearby town in a couple of minutes. Just wondering if such short trips have clogged something up. I'm going to get some Wyn's additive and give it a blast. For the sake of a few euros, I think it's worth a go. The old dear has little residual value so I don't want to rack up garage bills.

2006 Combi with 260000km.Has been a superbly reliable car. Few problems- just maintenance and replacement of parts of brakes and suspension. Reluctantly have decided to update and Sod's law has struck. As indicated in the heading, the engine seems to stutter under forceful acceleration. Is it worth putting an additive in the fuel and giving it a good run on the autoroute? Similarly, thoughts on what the problem might be and solutions welcomed. Thanks.
