Skoda Yeti stop start very intermittent
Thanks to all for your replies I was aware of the various parameters it would need to stop then start safely, but hadn't considered the battery, that said, the day after my post it worked perfectly!! AKA Sod's law! No real reason to suspect the battery as it always starts easily and have seen no aged battery symptoms, was going to check the batt V today but Mrs put the thing in the garage so it'll have to wait till its out again, then 1 to 2 hours to let the Volts stabilise. Personally I see it as software related so unless the battery is showing less then, say 12.7v after 2 hours with engine off, I'll take that route. As a newbie on here must say impressed with all my kind replies. Ian

Skoda Yeti stop start very intermittent
Hi All 2015 Yeti L&K 2.0 diesel 150, 4x4, "auto" The stop/start facility has always (owned 6 months) been a matter of luck whether it does or doesn't. The switch to isolate it is never "on". If we stop at traffic lights, for example, and it doesn't stop the engine, there's a symbol on the driver display with a circle and a diagonal line across it, meaning it hasn't or won't Any ideas please? I actually like the concept and with eternal road works and other reasons not to be moving in something designed to actually BE moving it is a useful thing to have? Many Thanks Ian

Nav volume question.
Thanks JB Tried that and even got into sat nav settings and turned the radio volume (I think) to OFF, but still get radio when sat nav in use. I simply cannot believe how difficult this simple need is!!

Nav volume question.
Sure this will be old question to most, but not to me!! 2015 Yeti L&K To get the nav display to work you have to press the "radio" ON button. Clearly, the radio then starts First part of question, how do you switch the radio OFF!!! Now select NAV, all fine now I've tamed it, but the bl88dy radio is still on in the background, and if turned down low enough to not here the thing, it's too low to hear the sat nav directions. SO, Second part of question...........I don't want the radio, at all actually (!) but want to hear the nice sat nav lady. Surely this must be possible, but hours of reading the owners manual so far hasn't even told me how to switch the radio OFF!!! 🥵🥵 Any ideas please. Delighted with the car in all other respects, just this one!!
