    Yes the same. We had two coils give up in the first year so have been carrying a spare in the glove box ever since! We were introduced to the limitations of modern clutch lining materials when it failed suddenly at about 40k. Great car for these narrow lanes!

    Thanks! Yes these are brilliant, even sporty (OK my last bike was an xs850 3 cylinder so I love this engine) and are a good basic for learning about Skoda engineering if you are so inclined!
