  1. Hi DEL8OY I havent had it checked for codes but will do in the next day or so. The light flashes. I've changed the coils and relay but still seems like its in limp mode. Also the engine management light came on yesterday and the dpf light?? .
  2. Hi Breezy_Pete thanks for reply. I'm goimg to try the first suggestion and then the relay holder. Where is the location for this and the E box? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply StevesTruck, yes sorry the glow plug light. I'll try that. Seems like a basic solution if even for more.
  4. Evening all, I'm looking for some help for my 2013 superb estate 1.6tdi. The coil light light up on the dashboard a last week. I changed the coils....but...the light is still on and the car still has reduced power. Someone mentioned perhaps changing the relay. Where would that be located and can I do it myself. Thanks in advance....
  5. Thank you Pete. Will look for the matching part.
  6. Hi everyone, I need some help with the oil pressure cable connector. Sorry I'm not a mechanic so will be using simple words. I changed the switch but realised the connection had a crack. Seemed to fit and worked well. But...now the low oil pressure symbol is coming back on and after having a look at the connection I managed to snap it in my haste. Can I buy a new cable to connect onto the sensor. Thank you in advance.
  7. FINALLY !!!! Removed the one single nut on the housing, which is a triple square but I used a T50 Torx bit. Moved the housing aside and after almost a week I used a 24mm spanner and changed the sensor. Went for a spin round the block and no warning on dash. Will drive to work later and see what happens. Fingers crossed.
  8. J.R if I do remove the bracket is there risk of damage. Its a engine lift bracket. Stupid question but does it mean the engine is attached to these bolts. Thanks in advance
  9. Thank you Delboy will try the deep socket. The engine lift bracket sounds risky.
  10. I could do but the gap between the top plate( s ) is very narrow. Ideally want to know if I can remove it.
  11. Evening all, I'm looking for help with a oil pressure sensor. I know where it is and how to get to it. BUT..every socket, spanner ( 24mm ) just doesn't reach it. My question was could I remove or move the plate next too it for better access or is the plate attached to something inside?? Ps I've had it changed once and the mechanic took around 2 hours and charged £110. It still comes up on the dash and I've bought a genuine sensor from Skoda, rather £5.10 from Ebay. Thank you in advance.
