  1. Hi all, I've just had the bearings replaced in the rear diff of my 2015 Octavia Scout, but now it's been reinstalled a problem with the Haldex controller has come to light... it's full of water and has shorted! Finding the controller replacement is becoming a nightmare. The part number is 0CQ907554D. I have found various places selling the controller unit for VW's and AUDI's but the final letter is H not D. Just wondering if this would be compatible with my unit? There are a few for sale on ebay with the H ending, and state that they are compatible with D models but thought it double check before taking the chance. Cheers
  2. Legendary Trevor, thanks for this info. Please let me know how you get on, and the costs associated with a second hand diff. Cheers, Dan
  3. I'm having the same issue. Down here in Tassie, my MY15 Scout has a whirring noise coming from the diff at around 30kph and gets really loud over 65-70kph. Mechanic recons it's the pinion bearing or carrier bearing, and had a quote to replace the whole diff at $8000!!! Surely the bearing can be replaced if that is the issue?
