Hi all, hope someone can help or has some advice!
Bought my used 2018 Skoda Fabia Estate 6 months ago, a couple of months in I realised the boot carpet was wet and water pooled in the spare wheel well underneath. Thought I maybe hadn't closed the boot properly before heavy rain but not the case as shortly after more water had pooled. Tested it at home and it looked as though water was coming in through upper tailgate light. Booked car in to be checked and they replaced tailgate light, not under warranty! But offered 80% of fees so didn't argue it but was still majorly peeved! Anyway I get home and soon realised it hasn't been fixed! So they didn't bother testing it at all... Took it back today and have now been phoned to say it's probably the rear windscreen (through process of elimination) no further explanation given as they don't have the answer! It's not under warranty but scotglass have quoted £100 odd (don't believe that either!). Anyway now I'm off the phone I'm thinking how annoyed I am! Surely the previous owner would have discovered this? They have sold me a faulty car. Does anyone know what my rights are with this or any advice?
Thanks in advance.
