I've seen no publication about this though from Skoda, you'd imagine that would be on new vehicles going forward wouldn't you rather that current owners

Hi, Received a notification of an available update in MY71 Scala SE L. I completed the update as usual and now I have lost various settings. For example, I don't have any ambient light settings anymore for the foot well, switches etc. and I can't select auto brightness/dimming for the display. Also a new colour box has appeared which just stays black no matter where you move it on the scale. The update also said there were four new features, which were listed as, new feature 1, new feature 2 etc. Does anyone actually know what these features are: My software info now shows: Hardware: H22 Software: 0302 Nav Datebase: 22.7 Radio: 1.30.24 Any help would be greatly appreciated it especially if other people have experienced this error/bug and what software you are running? Hi, Recently purchased a new Scala SE L. I originally had s-pin protection on but soon got fed up of entering the pin every time the ignition was turned on. Without s-pin protection on, if someone was to enter my vehicle without the presence of my keys and basically attempt to steal the vehicle could they turn off the tracking information which I can access with My Skoda / Skoda Connect to track the vehicle. Also would Maps and my personal info fail to load such as work & home location? Thanks for your help.

Good evening, I've looked everywhere for this answer and can't find it, apologies. I have a 71 plate Scala SE L which has come with a free year of the skoda online software. I have attached a picture of the software page. Is this running the latest software and how do I keep it up to date? I'm using my mobile phone data as a mobile hotspot which the system automatically connects to each time I get in the vehicle and I have turned off e-sim to ensure it connects to my phone via the infotainment so I don't have to buy a skoda data plan. Can anyone advise if this is the correct thing to do so the infotainment system always stays updated?
