  1. Hi no I have it from new its not the fact of buying a new battery it's to think that it was checked the hole car got a clean bill of health i forgot on the invoice i had break down assistance And the first thing I went for was breakdown assistance i had this with the car insurance but when I did phone insurance they had nothing on there file .In the hight of it then I was like a Irish Mr Bean lol. I am 65 years old and a plumber by trade i would not of been pleased if I had work on and loose it because the car would not start. Chancing my arm with the main dealer they will phone me this week might give me a good deal on a new car but I would not hold my breath . Would love to win a few quid I think I would go for Toyota hybred especially with the price of petrol . Even the basic model of the Skoda fabia when I had one in 2004 you got more in this same car in the UK compared to this kip of a country oh the joys of motoring stay safe
  2. Thanks very much for your reply. This car is 2018 Skoda Octavia I would of expected a bit longer than 3 years out of a batterie have it from new my last Skoda was a Octavia 2006 model only replaced batterie in this same car in 2017. Oh I have a friend a VW mechanic. The anoying part is I only got a full service with a Skoda on 10 /3/ 22 and it showed on service report that batterie was checked so there is something wrong there . But as you know they can tell you anything . Only reason why i go to Skoda you get breakdown assistance for 12 Months with a full service . And it might make a difference on a trade in ? with getting a service in Skoda . Thanks for your Help

It did show in the full service Report from main Dealer that the Batterie was charging only thing i did notice that the Stop stat Feature was not comeing on the way it did when i first bought the car.
