  1. Thanks very much for responding, I bought the car from a main dealer 2 years ago and I didn't spot the rust then. The previous owner lived by the sea so maybe that explains why there is rust on the roof. The main dealer recommended the body work business that they use, so that's who i have got to do the respraying and sealing, i think that's the term that was used. Hoping that they will do a good job. Thanks again roottoot. What you have posted is very interesting, I will try and post a picture.

  3. I have my car booked in for a roof respray, silver colour, because of rust the size of thumb print. Should I be worried about how the colour will look in comparison to the rest of the car and should I get it treated once the roof is resprayed. I did get the car detailed 2 years ago. Any comments would be appreciated.
