  1. Hi Bap33 I have spent 7 months arguing my case which I think is strong enough for a court case. I wrote to the new Director of Skoda UK , but he responded via one of his staff who avoided addressing my key questions; was offered £100 as a goodwill gesture, just need to find another £440 to have it replaced. The sad thing is it has taken the edge of my enjoyment of the Superb; they need to learn a few lessons from BMW whose warranty is excellent. I have a X5 M sport and it has had a couple of warranty issues - sorted right away.
  2. I find that they happy to point out this issue to Skoda agents but fail to adequately advise customers. In my field it is like prescribing a drug with a known intolerance when taken with another drug, telling all other GPs about this issue, but then not telling patients. I am so disappointed in Skoda's attitude; brand loyalty means nothing to them. Hymer
  3. Hi, One of my rear window trims which is sliver in colour has developed pitting marks. I thought I would get it replaced under warranty, how wrong I was. My warranty claim has been refused and despite making a strong case, Skoda had advised that they will not communicate further about this matter. What really is annoying is SKODA Uk have issued a TPI to garages about this issue saying that it is caused by strong detergents and customers should follow the handbook guidelines. I have read all the guidelines and there is no mention of the vulnerability of this trim to certain car shampoos. The replacement cost of the trim is £540! as it is attached to the glass which is bonded in place. Love the car but this incident and response is so disappointing. Has anybody else had this issue and was it resolved? Hymer
