  1. I’ve just bought a 2019 citigo and I’m using the move and fun app. I’m quite techy and everything is set up okay and working as it should be but I have a query. Where I see that the app is great and fun and displays lots of useful information I’m confused as to why I have to go to the trouble of setting up my phone and the app when I want to view the trip computer. All the other features of the app are great but as the citigo I have is fitted with a great infotainment system and in my case the colour display on it also displays the view for my rear parking sensors, and as the information and data collected for the trip computer is clearly stored somewhere within the car and then transferred to the app, why didn’t Skoda just simply allow that kind of information to be more conveniently displayed on the colour radio display screen. It’s clearly easily possible without the need for any additional hardware. Where I get that the app is brilliant for lots of other features, a simple trip computer, miles left in the tank and average mpg are everyday useful information that I don’t always want to go through the extra task of setting up my phone and the app each time to view. I appreciate that some models might have this feature within the drivers console but it’s clearly possible on mine with a minor software tweak to the infotainment system as this information is displayed on the infotainment system in my Octavia. Simple trip computers are a basic integral feature these days aren’t they? This is my only gripe by the way, I’m an Octavia owner and we now have the Citigo as a replacement for our second Octavia as it’s a more suitable car for our daughter to learn to drive in. I have to say it’s great fun and I’m finding myself choosing it instead of the Octavia for small urban commutes. A cool little fun car.
