Picking up my karoq next week Monday can’t wait. I previously had an Enyaq on order but just couldn’t justify the premium of EVs right now. looking forwards to the £500 Mastercard as well

no it’s not a mobility car considering how little I drive I’d rather not pay the premium for EVs, come 2030 in the UK the market will be so saturated the price of the Enyaq will replace the Skoda karoqs, there will be an EV for every Skoda current model I’d rather wait a few more years and enjoy my Sportline for cheaper price.

Im not sure, ive now changed my order, to a new moon white due to arrive within the next week or 2. I assume its the same spec as nay orders placed now?

The lead time on new karoqs are 38 weeks, around 8 months, i really wanted a new deal mainly to take advantage of the £500 fuel card offer and my current lease expires in 7 months so whilst my car valued highly just better to make the switch asap haha.

I ended up cancelling it about 1 week before it arrived, it wasnt about the wait times i think it was only around 9 months for the enyaq. But i decided i have been wfh for about 3 years, i barely do 5,000 miles i couldn't justify having an electric with the premium being so high. I'd rather wait until 2030 where all manufactuers in the UK can only make new model cars of EVs, the price should come down as the market becomes a lot more saturated. I've got my moon white sportline karoq arriving in the next 2 weeks, i currently have a 2019 SEL karoq so largely similiar but actually my monthly payments are a bit cheaper this time round.

Yeah 😄 I will enjoy it when it eventually arrives lol. I'm not in a rush per say for a new vehicle I'm just taking advantage of being able to swap and my monthly costs are a bit cheaper when you factor in insurance, fuel and monthly cost. Ideally would like it before my car reaches 3 years but that's in October 2022 so I don't think the car will be built and shipped by then. Oh well. I wasn't really fuased about thw headlights but when I learnt about it I was sold seems like a solid feature to be fair.
